Methods and claims from a stack of papers.
Paper Digest reads the papers you give it, builds one table of their methods, datasets and claims, and points out where they disagree with each other.
Usage
- Put the PDFs in
papers/. - Start Digest and say what you are looking for, for example "evaluation methods for retrieval".
- Read the table first, then the disagreements.
What it produces
digest/table.md: one row per paper with the method, dataset, main claim and page referencesdigest/disagreements.md: claims that conflict across papers, quoted side by side
Configuration
focus: the question that decides which claims matter. Without it, every claim is summarized.columns: extra table columns, such assample sizeorcode available.
Notes
- Scanned PDFs without a text layer are skipped and listed at the end.
- Page references point at the PDF's own page numbers, not the printed ones.
